Dharam Dev Anand ( Dev Aanand ) the ' Evergreen Romantic Superstar ' of bollywood movies, passed away in London on Saturday night following cardiac arrest . He was 88 years. ( 26 September 1923 – 4 December 2011 )

Dev Saab, who had come to London for medical check up, was not keeping well for the last few days, family sources said. His son Sunil was with him when he breathed his last.

Dev Saab established his movie production company " Navaketan International Films " in 1949 and also has produced more than 35 movies.
Dev Anand saab has won 2 Filmfare Awards in 1958 for his performance in the movie " Kala Paani" and in 1966 for movie " Guide "

We are losing our legends one by one.After few years God forbid we won't have any of the legends whom we boosted of.Our country will become like a place devoid of any shaddy trees that give us a fresh cool breeze refreshing us from the every day tensions of life.Post independence we were blessed with best ever talent in the art, cinema and music field. Our country needs a resurgance in the above fields and the same can be obtained if we we do not ape the west , be Indian as Indian art and music is far far superior and scientific compared to others
